MAKING HISTORY AS WE GO

One of the most important and fundamental aspects of any creative activity is to learn continuously, to be open to new and innovative ideas, and to understand the context of history. Wavelengths co-founder Terry Smith thoughtfully poses the provocative question, “How did we get here?” Therefore, to initiate this important dialogue, we have chosen to open the discussion not with a firm assertion or a traditional history lesson, but instead to invite anyone who is genuinely interested in the realms of dance and performance to engage with us. The first question we pose is, indeed, how did we get to this point in our creative journey?
